With over 10 years experience in running social netball leagues for women at Play Netball, we wanted to share our love for sport even wider, starting with schools and after school clubs.
PLAY SPORTS JUNIORS
2024
We launched ‘Play Netball Juniors’ for school girls and boys, and within the first 6 months over 50 schools had chosen us to deliver fun and engaging After School Netball sessions to their students.
Play Football Juniors followed shortly after, proudly gaining a cohort of over 100 coaches delivering sessions in the first 9 months!
2026
Following requests and enquiries from our schools to include more sports, we officially have over 10 sports now available to offer to students.

In 2026 we launched ‘Play Sports Juniors Netball Academy’ (PSJ Netball Academy for short!).
Our Netball Academy sessions are ran as independent clubs, either after school time or at the weekends. The sessions are designed for children aged 5-17 years old, separated into smaller age groups, for them to enjoy and gain experience in netball in a fun environment.
As with Play Sports Juniors and Play Netball Women’s Leagues, children are welcome to join the Netball Academy whatever netball experience or ability they have!
THE TEAM
LUKE IMPETT
Sports Development Officer
Luke is a specialist in sports for children, and works exclusively for Play Sports Juniors managing all the extra-curricular clubs and local Netball Academies.
Luke has worked in Education from the age of 17, starting as a TA until qualifying as a teacher. Luke has valuable coaching experience leading and working with local youth teams and PE lessons and clubs, enabling him to confidently understand and manage all aspects of the Junior sessions.
Outside of PSJ, Luke runs his own Private Tutoring Business and enjoys playing Football and Padel weekly.
HANNAH HOOK
Sports Marketing Coordinator
Hannah is a strong and experienced creative individual, working across Play Sports Juniors and Play Netball, specialising in brand, web and digital design and content. Hannah designed, developed and continuously manages the PSJ website, content, brand, and established clear tone of voice across all communications. Hannah loves to create visually engaging content that, whether by design, copywriting or TikTok videos, resonate with our audience, and is especially passionate about wanting to keep girls in sport!
Outside of work Hannah is an illustrator, creating prints, bespoke designs, and commissions for weddings, individual clients, and even sports clubs!
ABOUT PLAY NETBALL
For the past 10 years, Play Sports Leagues have ran over 175 social Netball and Football leagues in the UK. We are the biggest, and most followed social sports provider, which is the reason why over 50,000 women are currently playing with us weekly.
Our mission is simple: to provide a high-quality social leagues that remains competitive yet fun, friendly, and accessible to all ages and abilities. Our goal is to provide a safe space for women to play sport with no inhibitions or barriers, and to always feel included and welcome.

Proud partners since 2024, Flyhawk have been bringing the best quality Flyhawk netballs to all our junior & adult leagues. Flyhawk have amassed a large number of partnerships with clubs and ambassadors from the netball industry very quickly, (London Pulse, Team Bath, Serena Guthrie and Nat Metcalf to name a few). All of our Junior leagues will be using Size 4 Flyhawk balls in every session.
