FOOTBALL CLUBS FOR SCHOOLS

Fun and inclusive girls football clubs delivered by trained and experienced coaches at your school

PRIMARY football CLUBS

Football is a sport that many children already know and love, making it a fantastic way to get pupils active, involved and excited about sport. Beyond learning how to pass, dribble and score, football encourages children to understand the importance of teamwork, communication and working towards a shared goal.

Our Primary School Football clubs are open to girls and boys aged 5–11, providing a welcoming environment where children can play, learn and develop regardless of their experience.

Delivered weekly after school, our KS1 and KS2 Football clubs give schools an easy way to provide high-quality Football coaching while keeping pupils active, engaged and enjoying the game with their friends.

Sessions combine plenty of time on the ball with fun drills, challenges and small-sided games, helping pupils improve essential Football skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, movement and ball control.

From children kicking a Football for the first time to confident young players looking to develop further, our experienced coaches tailor activities to the age and ability of the group.

WHAT IS football ALL ABOUT?

During games, pupils are constantly making decisions, finding space, reacting to opponents, supporting teammates and choosing what to do with the ball, helping develop awareness, concentration and quick thinking. Football can also teach valuable lessons around resilience, respect and sportsmanship, from learning how to respond when a game doesn’t go their way to celebrating the achievements of others. Most importantly, it provides a familiar and enjoyable setting where children can build friendships, grow in confidence and experience the feeling of being part of a team.

about PLAY SPORTS JUNIORS after school sessions

Girls of any ability can expect to gain valuable Football experience over planned, weekly extra-curricular sessions during term-time. Aimed at school years 1 to 6, Play Sports Juniors helps develop agility, balance, and coordination through a mix of games, physical activities, and skill-building exercises, split into KS1 and KS2 after-school groups.

For Play Sports Juniors, one of the most important things to us is promoting the social side of sport and the sense of belonging to a team. Playing in a team has huge personal, social and emotional benefits and we firmly believe that there is a sport for everyone.

If children can have positive experiences of sport during their time at school, they can bring these experiences into their adult lives, continuing to stay active and enjoy taking on new sports and challenges in the future.
